As is our tradition, we celebrated the beginning of autumn and the birthday of Bilbo and Frodo with a little feast. Sadly, my planning left a bit to be desired, and our meal was both a little rushed and very late. Still, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, and I very much appreciate their joining us during one of my favorite holidays.I have to admit, I'm more than ready to welcome the change of season. Fall is the time of year to which I feel most suited, and I 'm looking forward to many cold days spent indoors with the company of friends, family, and a good book.
